BatchPoint has been developed by the Technology Services Division of Balance Professional Services (BPS), a privately owned professional service consulting company based in Adelaide, Australia.

The Technology Services Division of BPS specialises in developing information, document and record management, collaboration and intranet/extranet solutions based upon the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 product suite.

BatchPoint was originally developed for internal use only by BPS as we commissioned our own SharePoint intranet, extranet and EDRM system in SharePoint 2010. We found it so useful and easy to use we commenced using it with our clients when commissioning their SharePoint solutions. We found that similar products either were incomplete, poorly or totally unsupported or far too expensive for something that would likely only get used once or twice in the initial commissioning of a SharePoint system.

We realised that our tool could fill a gap in the market for companies that needed a feature rich batch or bulk file upload tool for SharePoint that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and hence BatchPoint was born.
